Reports have it that operatives of the DSS have blocked all entrances into the National Assembly. They are reportedly stopping some members and staff of the Assembly from gaining entry.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had alleged on Monday that agents of the federal government planned to forcefully open the Assembly and pave way for the impeachment of Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.

The operatives are turning away cars of lawmakers and one of those that have been prevented from gaining entry into the complex is Rafiu Ibrahim, senator representing Kwara south.

According to TheCable, Ahmed Lawan, senate leader, and some senators elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) met with Lawal Daura, director-general of the DSS, at about 1am on Tuesday.
A Channels TV reporter said the operatives are seizing phones from journalists and preventing them from doing any form of coverage.
