On April 29, Donald Trump will clock 100 days in office as US President. Like they do for most political leaders, Americans and indeed the world, are waiting to analyse his achievements so far.
But Trump is worried about the 100 days tradition and already suspecting that the media, which he has been at loggerheads with, will kill reports of his accomplishments.
In a tweet on Friday, he called the 100 days idea a “ridiculous standard”.
He tweeted:
No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!
Earlier in the week, he tweeted that: “The Fake Media (not Real Media) has gotten even worse since the election. Every story is badly slanted. We have to hold them to the truth!”
Research has however revealed that Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933 created the 100 days idea.
