The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) have commenced the collation of results from the Kogi State govenorship election held on Saturday,November 16.
The results from 15 local government areas has so far been collated.
From the results so far collated, the All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate and incumbent governor of the state, Yahaya Bello is in the lead, closely followed by Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
Bello won in Ogori-magogo, Ijumu, Adavi, Okene, Kabba-Bunu, Koton Karfe, Okehi, Mopamoro, Ajaokuta and Olamaboro local government areas while Wada won in Omala, Igalamela/Odolu, Yagba East, Yagba West and Idah local government areas.
Collation of results will resume at 3.30 pm.
