Reports have it that the management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) have further reviewed downwards, the new tuition fees of the insitution.
This comes one week after the Governing Council of the school directed that the proposed tuition fees in the institution be brought down to N140, 000 for indigenes of Oyo and Osun States and N170,000 for non indigenes.
The institution had last month fixed N200,000 for indigenes of the owner states and N250,000, for non indigenes. The announcement drew widespread condemnation and protests by students of the institution.

Newspeakonline learnt that the new fees regime, based on students’ levels, is as follows:
100 level – Indigenes – N140,000; Non-indigenes – N170,000.
200 level – Indigenes – N120,000; Non-indigenes – N150,000
300- 500 level – Indigenes – N90,000; Non-indigenes – N100,000
The meeting had in attendance representatives of the parents forum, Ogbomoso leaders, governing council, the alumni and student bodies.
The school will resume for a new session on November 5, 2018.
