The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in a politically explosive move, has reopened its inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s use of private e-mail while she held sway as US Secretary of State.
This is coming barely two weeks to the presidential election in which Clinton will be vying on the platform of the Democratic Party, squaring up to Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
FBI Director, James Comey, said in a letter to eight committee chairmen in Congress: “In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,”
“I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information.”
