Meghan Markle, marched into the St. George’s Chapel at Windsor in all her regal glory, to be joined together Prince Harry at exactly 12 noon.
As Meghan said ‘I do’ Saturday May 19, 2018, sealing her union with her Prince, the American celebrity becomes a British Royalty.
Prince Charles, walked her down the aisle as her soon-to-be husband waited with bated breath, stretching his neck to catch a glimpse of her in her regal wedding gown.
As Harry greeted his bride at the altar he said: “You look amazing.” She arrived accompanied by two page boys who held up her train as she made her way up the chapel’s steps alone.
Prince Harry was quite emotional, as he fought back tears, obviously overcome by emotions as the priest takes him and his bride through the wedding vows.
With their vows, the couple adopted their new official title, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Meghan automatically becomes a princess by marrying Harry. But because she was not born a royal, her title as princess becomes her husband’s name so she’ll formally be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Harry of Wales.
Six hundred guests witnessed the historic event. They include Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney and Elton John. A crowd of around 100,000 were outside and millions of TV viewers glied to their TV sets across the world to be part of the moment.
